I began making music sometime late in 1998 or very early in 1999, when I was 8-years-old. My recollection is a little fuzzy, but the first program I can remember using was a small application called "Presto MIDI". It was a very simple program, and since I had no MIDI controllers — let alone knowledge of how to use one — I had to enter the notes in using the mouse. I never produced anything very good with it, but it definitely showed me that a computer could be used as an instrument of sorts. I later played around with Propellerheads' "ReBirth" program, which really opened up the doors of computer-based music production for me.

It took me a little while to find a program that I was comfortable with. I don't remember exactly when I discovered Image-Line's "FL Studio" DAW, but I have been using it ever since then.

I was instructed in cello through a school program from roughly 5th to 9th grade, and I was professionally instructed in guitar for roughly 7 years. I am somewhat knowledgeable in the piano, as well.

aliases

If I release a song that differs — stylistically speaking — from my usual work, I will sometimes release it under a different name to distance it from my other work. I've always found it interesting when artists use multiple aliases, especially if it is with the intent of exploring different styles.

I have released music under the following pseudonyms.
